Restoration workshop for adults
Targets:
Teach, advise and help the learner to know and restore his furniture, observing, working with tools, materials and techniques to obtain surprisingly professional results.
Experience:
No prior knowledge is necessary.

EXTRACURRICULAR CREATIVES
Children's workshops
Targets:
Introduce pupil to the world of Wood by following its evolution through the history of humankind. Teaching them to work with various types of wood, techniques, tools, and materials, learning about their diversity and characteristics. Enhance their manual skills by creating different projects (games, objects, etc.) related to each historical period. (VIEW PHOTOS)

Previous experience with wood
Willingness to accept challenges and follow rules, as we work with dangerous tools and materials (saws, drills, hammers, nails, etc.)

MARQUETRY MONOGRAPH
Course for Adults
Targets:
Delve into the world of marquetry. The student will create a marquetry motif that will be glued to a wooden box. Throughout the process, they will learn different techniques, including fret sawing, shading, veneering, hot-glue application, stuccoing, and shellac varnishing (“French polish”), as well as the tools and products used in marquetry and a little about its history.

No prior knowledge is necessary.

INTRODUCTION TO GILDING
Course for Adults
Targets:
Immerse yourself in the art of gilding. The student will decorate a wooden box with gold leaf, using the techniques they choose after practising on a wooden sample panel.
Throughout the process, the student will learn about the materials, tools, and preparation and application techniques for gold leaf, as well as different finishing and patination methods, including sealing, bole application, gilding and silvering, water gilding and oil gilding (using mordant/size), burnishing, and final finishes. The course also includes a brief introduction to the history of gilding.

Children's workshops
Targets:
The pupil fun enhancing their skills while aborrows, shares and works with different woods, techniques, tools and materials, continuing to create different projects (games, objects...) we decide during the week.
